About Garriga Reptiles

Garriga Reptiles was formed in 2004 when I decided to follow my dream since childhood to breed Boa Constrictors. I've always had a fascination in general with Reptiles but my main focus has always been the big Constrictors. I've owned several large Pythons including a 16ft puppy tame Reticulated Python and several 14ft plus Burmese Pythons but it's been the large Boas that have held my interest. Now, it's all about color and patterns found in Morphs and the drive to produce something special and unique. 

My collection isn't big, but it has some interesting characters. I'm also learning as I go on breeding these fantastic investments that don't just bring you joy in raising them but potentially small fortunes. There are no plans to make this my only means of income but there's nothing wrong with making additional income doing something you enjoy.

I'm quite a particular individual and prefer to have the best even if that means having less. Always striving for quality versus quantity which can be seen in the animals I purchase as well as in how they are raised. Breeders are kept in the best professional cages produced by ARS.

Garriga Reptiles was never intended to be a fly by night success story and we prefer to grow slowly and grow correctly. We want to be here 20 years from now and this can only be accomplished by buying the best available and not skimping on costs.

Rodents are purchased from Big Cheese. There are cheaper alternatives but the health of my stock is more important than saving a few bucks.

All in all, it's hard work maintaining more than a few Boas but the potential results are worth it. In the coming months, I will continue to update the photos on my Projects page so all can see how things are progressing.
